Over a decade ago, when I was suffering from Chronic Pain and nothing I tried was working for me, I felt helpless, hopeless. I blamed my circumstances, I was angry at God, I was frustrated and I felt hopeless. I thought if nothing that I have tried so far has worked that means I was stuck! I had begun to resign to this thought.

So when I was invited by my good childhood friend to attend a self-awareness seminar, I didn’t want to go. I thought when the “experts” have not been able to figure out how to help me, what good will a general self –awareness seminar do for me? Why waste time? Why bother going? I truly doubted that ANYTHING good would come of it. Not to forget all the discomfort I would be in sitting at seminar with my rib belt and my neck support that I wore daily.

Since this was my childhood friend pushing me to go, I decided to go. And my life changed forever!

I listened to the host of the seminar talk about his story and how he tried to take his own life. His business partner had cheated him, his business had gone bankrupt, his wife divorced him and took her 2 children with her. And one night he decided to hang himself . Fortunately, he was found by someone and rushed to a hospital and survived.

Wow! I thought, his situation had been way worse than mine and yet, here he was in front of me, giving this talk. In fact he had been going from country to country sharing the message – “You create Your Life With Your Thoughts!”

Long story short, I was deeply touched, inspired and open to what he had to say. And at the end of the seminar when I spoke to him privately about my chronic pain, he suggested I give EFT a go. EFT or Emotional Freedom Techniques. He had heard about the wonderful healings people had experienced using this tool for pain.

It’s been 11 years since I healed myself out of my own chronic pain and illness using EFT and helping hundreds and hundreds of others.

So I want to ask you:

  • Are you feeling stuck ?
  • Stuck in relationship pain? Chronic pain? Financial pain?
  • Have you been trying different things but not getting anywhere?

Know This – There is another way. There is ALWAYS another way – if you stay open and committed

Here are quick tips to get unstuck:

1. AWARENESS & ACCEPTANCE
Acknowledge the situation, problem, challenge you find yourself in and accept that this is where you are. Don’t dismiss it. Don’t pretend that the problem doesn’t exist. But also try to remind yourself -EVERYTHING IS TEMPORARY.
CHANGE is the only constant in life!
“This too shall pass!”

2. ADOPT A FLEXIBLE MINDSET (instead of a FIXED one)
You already know what you know. And since what you know so far, or what you have tried so far hasn’t worked, be OPEN to things that might be out there, that you are unaware of, that might work for you.
Don’t dismiss anything!
If I hadn’t gone to that seminar, and stayed open, I would not have discovered EFT or healed myself from my disease.

3. Stop Doing What’s Not Working!
Many times, we keep trying therapies, treatments, processes that are not bringing in any results. But we keep doing them anyway! Why? Because that is all we know. And so we hope the next time we do it, the longer we do it, or if we keep at it, we will get the results eventually!

The thing is, the more we do something that is NOT WORKING, the more we strengthen the belief that “I’m stuck’!

As Albert Einstein said “insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results!”

4. Get Professional Support– consider getting expert guidance.
It’s wonderful to get love and support from supportive family and friends. But when you have been feeling stuck for a while, unless the family and friend is an expert in the field you are experiencing challenges, there is only so much they can do. Working with an expert will get you started in the right direction and speed up the results you want!

Living your life feeling stuck and frustrated is no way to live at all. It takes away from your joy and holds you back from reaching your full potential and doing the things you love. So no matter what the situation, remind yourself: I have a choice.
Choose flexibility, choose possibilities, choose a different way!
